Our Mission

Connecting Kids to God and others

Saddleback Kids is the name of our children’s ministry at Saddleback Church. Our goal is to provide a fun and interactive program tailored just for kids, no matter what age and grade. We help children know Jesus and grow spiritually as they build meaningful relationships with each other and adult leaders.

Toddlers

Our Saddleback Toddler program serves children ages 1 through 2 years old. During the service, your child will experience fun learning activities, play time with others who are his or her age and will receive focused care and attention from our loving leaders. This room exists to meet the developmental needs of every child and to provide a safe and playful environment to learn about Jesus!

Currently, we don’t offer an Online Toddler Service. There are resources for Toddlers available on the Saddleback Kids YouTube Channel.

Early Childhoold

Our Saddleback Early Childhood program serves children ages 3 - Grade 1. During the service, your child will have time to play and make new friends with others who are his or her age, will watch fun videos about the Bible and will receive focused time and attention from our loving leaders. We provide a fun and safe environment where our early childhood children feel safe to ask questions and get excited about a relationship with Jesus!

Currently, we offer a weekly Zoom Call for our Early Childhood Kids at 9:45 every Sunday. To sign up, please fill out the registration form.

Elementary

The Saddleback Elementary program serves children in Grades 2-6. We teach the Bible in a way that addresses real issues our children are facing in this stage of their life. During the service, they will experience energetic and interactive worship, engage in games and activities with new friends and have focused time with loving leaders who make sure every child knows they are important and loved by God. Your child will have a blast and learn about Jesus in a way that connects with them on their level!

Currently, we offer a weekly Zoom Call for our Elementary Kids at 10:15 every Sunday. To sign up, please fill out the registration form.

Parents

“Honor your father and mother.” – Ephesians 6:2

God’s Word teaches us to honor our parents. Our aim at Saddleback Kids is to be in partnership with you and to honor and support you as you guide your child in their walk with Jesus. Always feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns. We want to work with you and help you to encourage your child toward spiritual maturity. Serve in SK

Volunteering in Saddleback Kids gives you an opportunity to use the skills and interests that God has given you to serve others. Saddleback Kids has many different roles and aims to place volunteers where they are shaped by God to serve, here are a few.

Weekends

As a Classroom Leader you can directly interact with children. Engage them in games, encourage them to worship or teach about the bible. If you love to hang out with kids and impact them in a positive way, this is the right place for you.

Resources

To make sure everything runs smoothly on Sundays, Resources Volunteers are very important. Preparing crafts for Sunday or assisting in the Office are some areas where you support the Saddleback Kids weekend experience.

Curriculum Development

The Material Saddleback Kids Central provides is in English language. To reach our German-speaking kids, Translation Volunteers and Voice Over Actors work on translating the original content into German. Other churches all over Germany benefit from the translated Bible videos as well.

Technology

As part of the SK Tech Team you are responsible for Video production. Taking the files the Voice Over actors produce, you cut videos the kids can enjoy on Sunday.

If you can see yourself serving in one of these areas, please fill out an application and send it to our SK Director. With any other questions, feel free to contact our SK director as well.
